Following its move from Russia to America as part of Starta Accelerator’s third batch of cross-border entrepreneurs, E-Contenta’s AI powered content distribution platform soon made a mark for itself on a global level. Shortly after pivoting from their original product, E-Contenta achieved a variety of new customers, a $120,000 IBM grant, and acceptance into several top-tier follow-on accelerators, including PepsiCo’s own branded accelerator.

One such accelerator, New York Fashion Tech Lab, brought the team together with other female-led startups and NYC, and then pushed E-Contenta to the forefront of the new wave of advertising tech with introductions to brand executives throughout the industry.

E-Contenta, the company at the center of this whirlwind of ad innovation, at its most basic level is a tool which helps marketers to evaluate brands’ content potential and launch high performance native ad campaigns with one click. Machine learning algorithms analyze online users’ behavior and content metadata, and the system picks the most relevant article from brands’ content and delivers it to those users who are most likely to convert into paying customers.

Just this past summer, London-based Matchesfashion began a partnership with E-Contenta via an accelerator connection.

“Matchesfashion is an ideal and iconic partner for E-Contenta because the company understands the importance of content and uses it to build its digital identity,” CEO Zoya Andreeva said. “Storytelling makes Matchesfashion part entertainment and part fashion diary. By combining business with pleasure, the brand is able to become a destination for both loyal buyers and those who are interested in fashion to discover recent trends and latest happenings within the company.”

“However, when you have thousands of texts it’s quite complicated to decide what person would be the interested in reading what story on what platform. And this is the space where E-Contenta can help with automation of relevant story delivery, while the Matchesfashion editorial team stays focused on content creation,” Andreeva added.

E-Contenta continues to dominate top-tier accelerator programs as it gets the word out about its adtech revolution, with an upcoming demo day through Monarq onDecember 4.

Starta, which gave them the initial tool set to succeed in the US market, was instrumental in both the team’s acculturation and its pivot to the successful company E-Contenta has become today.

During their time at the Starta Accelerator, they were also coached on how to make a successful pivot after finding their original idea wasn’t gaining traction, and ended up debuting a completely different product on demo day than they had been working on the past three months.

Yet with E-Contenta now courting some of the largest brands in the industry and increasing its market share, it can certainly be said that they have chosen the right path.
