Reveal: How a Small Team From Europe Revolutionized Facebook Ad Automation and Experience Exponential “Hockey Stick” Growth
What exactly is Reveal?
When the Reveal team first launched its product in the beginning of 2017, the chatbot revolution was in full swing. Automated mini-applications had arisen across all industries, to simulate conversation with human users on a variety of platforms, both consumer and enterprise.
Reveal, led by its CEO Michael Trofimov, had decidedly chosen to work on the business side of this nascent chatbot industry, specifically the creation of what would be called an adbot — a humanlike communication tool to run fully automated ad campaigns, connecting everything from Facebook Ads to Google Analytics and more.
To become what the Reveal team has called “the most advanced automation and reporting tool for digital ads,” the adbot would connect with Slack’s workplace messenger. Using Slack, users could run entire campaigns with a few keystrokes and @replies, thus making “advanced automation” also much more efficient and simple.
When Reveal was featured on Product Hunt, it was clear that the idea behind Trofimov’s adbot experiment was indeed fulfilling a market need. Reveal received over 500 upvotes and over 400 registrations, including huge industry players like The Next Web, Gameloft, Buffer, and many others.
Over the past 6 months, this has allowed Reveal to grow from $1,000 to $10,000 in monthly revenue, achieving the proverbial “hockey stick” growth that investors desire.
According to Trofimov, Reveal has started to go global as a result of its popularity and viral growth, which began after its launch in the United States. “The majority of our customers are in the US, but are also Europe, Asia and Australia,” he said. “We hope to dig deeper into all of these markets and provided high-quality, localized ad automation wherever our customers may be.”
Going forward into 2018, Reveal will also split into two components: a chatbot for ad platforms and a Facebook Ads automation tool.
