StringersHub is a marketplace that connects professional videographers (stringers) and eyewitnesses with media producers and editors who need video content. We are proud to announce that Stringershub, raised $500k under valuation of $2.5 million. Together with a pool of its co-investors, Starta Ventures invested $300k and became the lead investor of the round.
At the moment, more than 10 thousand professional stringers from around the world are registered on the platform. About 100 video stories for international and local media companies pass through the platform monthly. About 70% of Stringershub’s customers are from China, Western Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. Among them are CNN, Associated Press, ITV, Olympic Channel, CCTV, Al Jazeera, TRT World.
“The goal for the coming year is to increase revenue and the number of platform users to 50 thousand, launch a SaaS product for media companies, and begin working with brands and marketing agencies”, - Commented Yakov Buta, Co-Founder and CEO of Stringershub.
In 2018, Stringershub completed the Starta Accelerator program in New York. The volume of presowing investments amounted to $150k, including the cost of the program.
