Starta’s portfolio company, Archeads, raised $700k in its seed round with a $3.7 million valuation. Starta Ventures along with a few angel investors put in $400 k, and the rest was received from an American real estate investor.
Archeads has developed an interactive floorplan database that collects and converts old blueprints into the new floor plan standards and then creates test fits for the real estate market using machine learning and AI. Landlords and real estate brokers can digitize property space, and then proceed with the development of the layout without architect participation.

The startup was founded in 2018 by architect and entrepreneur, Alexander Smaga, and industrial designer, Arthur Tkachuk. At the end of 2019, Archeads launched pilot projects with key players in US real estate: Newmark Knight Frank, Nomad Property Group, and Rudder Property Group.

“The US market is the most important for us, as this is a hub for the world’s largest real estate companies, many of which occupy strong positions in other regional markets. We also see client interest and potential opportunities in promoting the platform in Europe and Asia,” says Alexander Smaga, Co-Founder and CEO of Archeads.
